About Linfield Linfield is a private four-year, co-ed, comprehensive college nationally recognized for its strong teaching faculty, outstanding academic programs, and distinctive international emphasis. Linfield College's 193-acre campus in McMinnville, Oregon currently enrolls 1,750 students. Linfield's Portland Campus is home to the Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing, established in 1982 through a partnership agreement with Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical center, now part of Legacy Health Systems. This transfer-only campus has 350 students and offers majors in nursing and health sciences. Established in 1849 and chartered in 1858, the college has been accredited since 1928. Linfield offers three undergraduate degrees, from which there are over 40 majors to choose. Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees are available on the McMinnville Campus, through the Division of Continuing Education's Adult Degree Program, and on the Portland Campus. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is available to undergraduate students and to students in the RN to BSN program on the Portland Campus. |
